Well, surgery went well. Franky ended up with a rod the entire length of his TIBIA. He is currently in a lot of pain and can’t walk yet. Because of the challenges he has with his left side, the doctor transferred him to Healthsouth again to get some therapy and live in a controlled environment. Needless to say, he is angry right now and just wants to be leading a normal life. To top in off, they won’t let him out of the facility to attend class. Luckily his professors and friends are being very understanding and helpful. So he is reading and has managed to set up WIFI to get work done. Please pray for a speedy recovery from this surgery and that the pain subsides a bit.

Greetings from Dr. Harper, I told her you were jealous of the courses being offered now at UT. She said to send you are best and she thinks of you often, it’s encouraging to all to see how far you’ve come and how much you continue to overcome…thanks for the tips on the article, I was able to find it!

stinks to hear about your leg. but it’s so good to read how you are doing otherwise. i’m soooooooo proud to know someone like you. reading your excitement in knox also makes me wish i’d been there. ah well, I’m with you in thoughts. you must be so frustrated with the new setback, but definitely remember it’s just that. especially in comparison to what you’ve overcome.
